We know about this error but were never able to replicate it. The debug output should show some information to get a hint of the underlying problem, though its strange that it only shows a "-". Can you help us by answering following questions? 1.) When you created a new profile did you start from the profile list by clicking "Show Reports" or did you start from config by clicking on "Rebuild Database". 2.) What happened in the progress display before the error occurred, did it show any progress greater than 0% or did the progress display only indicate "Receiving progress information, please wait". 3.) Did you click the Refresh button within the progress display at any time for the first 30 minutes? 4.) What is your log source, local files, FTP or HTTP? 5.) Are your log files unzipped or zipped, if the second in what format? Karl Sawmill Development |

Note, in case that you don't succeed to build the database from the web interface you could build it from the command line until this bug is fixed. The command is: sawmill.exe -p profile_name -a build_databaseAs this is a really tricky issue I have yet a few more questions. 1.) What is your operating system? 2.) What web browser are you using? 3.) Could you email me the profile where the error occurred? Profiles are located in the Sawmill Program sub directory LogAnalysisInfo\profiles\your_profile.cfg 4.) In case that you can replicate the error, could you also email me the entire Ipc folder (compressed) right after the error occurs? The Ipc location is in the Sawmill Program sub directory LogAnalysisInfo\Ipc Thanks in advance for your help. Karl Sawmill Development |
