"mysql database is slower than internal database"

Os redhat 9 sawmill version 7.1.11 binary

mysql: local connect

I analysis the same log with internal database and mysql,
if with internal database it cost 5minutes, while with mysql
it run 30minutes than out of response at the stage of Building database cross-reference tables separately. why? how to improve?
Give me some light pls

we've found some issues in Sawmill with building using MySQL and resolved a portion of them in Sawmill 7.1.12. We hope to have the rest fixed in 7.1.13. The first thing I'd try to do is upgrade to 7.1.12, next if possible locate your MySQL install on a different machine vs. having the MySQL server on the same machine that's running Sawmill.
