"Generating HTML reports via scheduler"

   Hi,

I am trying to generate HTML reports using the scheduler. I am able to generate the reports individually, but if I try to use the 'All reports option' it doesn't work properly.

It produces index, left_naviagtion and top_frame html pages but none of the reports.

The TaskLog has the following error repeated 10 times (presumably the number of reports it trys to produce):

//tulip/tulip1/sawmill/v7/production/src/make_directory.cpp 112 "Unable to create folder c:\<my report files folder path> -mpi 1996"

I am using sawmill 7.1.7

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Tom

I think what might be happening is that the path you've specified is not being handled correctly by Sawmill.

If you could try to run Sawmill at the command line with a path that does not include "spaces" or special symbols we can verify that this is what's going on. I will attempt this in my testing onsite, however, it would be helpful to know what the exact path is that it's complaining about.

To run the command from the command line you'd do the following:

from a command prompt/command line (terminal window or dos window) move to the Sawmill install directory.

In windows this would be moving to the install directory, as a default, it's located in C:\Program Files\Sawmill 7\

Then run the command:

TO EXPORT A REPORT ALL REPORTS FROM profilename AS HTML
SawmillCL.exe -p profilename -a garf -ghtd dirname

And in the directory name, possibly specify a path that is fairly simple to resolve, like C:\Temporary or something like that. It may also be that the path you are specifying does not have permissions and is not "writeable" by the Sawmill.
