"Countries Cities and Regions"
| |
LAST EDITED ON Apr-10-13 AT 10:13 AM (PDT) Hi,In the Filter Section I have certain choices from a drop down menu. Can I add other choices? And if yes, how? So I fooled around with the Report Options and editor and while regions is now part of the drp down menu, something I did displays OB in the Region Column. All other colums are populated with information. What I would like to be able to do is filter so I can see the country and the provice in Canada. So I would need to undo what I did and then ???? |

Which "Filter Section" and drop down menu were you referring to? And what changes did you make in the report editor that you need undone? Might be easier to start over with a new profile. Generally, if you want to customize a report to filter on a region (province) in Canada, you can duplicate a regions report in the report editor, name it something that identifies the region, click on the report element to edit it, and select the filter tab. Then click "Show Available Fields" to see the field name for your log format. For instance, in an Apache NCSA profile, the region field name used in filter expressions is "geo_region". So, if you wanted to filter on Quebec, the filter expression would be: (geo_region within 'QC') Since "QC" is how Quebec shows up in the reports. Clicking on "Expression help" opens a page that explains report filter syntax. |

Hi, Whatever I did, I can not correct it and all region are showing OB. My best bet seems to be to remove the software and reinstall. BUT because I am on a trial, if I re-register how will that affect my time limit? Thank you, |
