"GeoIPCity-532.dat"
 
   I tried to update GeoIPCity-532.dat file with newer edition, but Sawmill (before rebuilding database) just downloaded older file from web and replaced it back. Is there some posibility how to use newer GeoIP?

You can't override the one Sawmill uses, but email support@flowerfire.com and tell us to use the latest, and we'll update the one we include with Sawmill.

This file is very large (18MBs), you can download the install and this file is included within the distribution file.

Click on the "download/buy" above, and download the full Sawmill distribution. You can not currently download only the geo-ip database from our site, only the full Sawmill binary is available.

GeoIP is used by Sawmill for Geographic lookup. You do not need PHP code, you need to install this into your Sawmill install folder LogAnalysisInfo and Sawmill will perform the look up of the IP address that's specified in the configuration as the 'host' field and will fill in the city/country/region.

   Except it does not show city/country/region in my reports - I only see - country.... do I have to change a switch somewhere???? Nothing in the documentation on this - ZERO

If you click on the 'region/country' you should see something like the following...

USA

(clicking on USA) will give you...
USA/CA

click on this will give you

USA/CA/San Francisco

This is a 'drill down'.
