We use the dd/mm/yyyy date format which is what the log files we will be analysing will be in, but when viewing sawmill reports it has converted these to the standard US mm/dd/yyyy format. I've searched the documentation and forums here but cannot find a definitive way to change this.

It mentions it is a profile option and can be changed via the command line as well, however I can not find it anywhere under the Profile Config in the GUI and I cannot get the syntax right for changing it at the command line.

Can someone please tell me, how I can change the date format from the default "auto" to dd/mm/yyyy?

The easiest is to open up the profile .cfg file in a text editor, and search for "date_format" and change the line from :

date_format = "auto"

to this:

date_format = "dd/mm/yyyy"

Does that work?
