"Timeout while waiting for IPC file to appear"

While accessing sawmile, suddenly I am getting the following message.

Error while waiting for response from handler process: "Timeout while waiting for IPC file to appear (Task-168684-ResultWritten)".

How to get over this problem?

Are you seeing this error consistently?

What's the actual operation you are doing?

One thing to try is increasing the value for ipc_timeout in the preferences.cfg file in the Sawmill install folder, LogAnalysisInfo.

I think this error was occurring because, while an update was going on, I inadvertently closed command causing abrupt cancellation.

After this I started getting this message.

I have rebuilt the database to get over this problem.
