"Unable to gather data from MDaemon 7.12+ log files"

I have two MDaemon machines, one running 7.1.2, and one running 7.2.0 of MDaemon. I have the log files set to log all information, swap log files daily, and to log each type of traffic in a seperate log.

When I point Sawmill 7.0.7 to the MDaemon-YYYYMMDD-All.log, it incorrectly identifies the log as Mailer Daemon. I then tell Sawmill that the log is MDaemon Ver7 format.

Sawmill gathers no records reqardless of the type of log, either Mailer Daemon or MDaemon V7. I have tried in both formats, but no data is retrieved.

Here is a the top of the MDaemon-20041012-All.log

Hi, the MDeamon7 format was written for the Statistics log that Alt-n wrote for us (not Sawmill but all log analysis software).

So the "Mailer Deamon" format should be the one you need for the "All" log. If that doesn't work can you send me a log and I will test here.

Cheers,

It looks like we may not have received these files. Please email me at ferrar@flowerfire.com with the location of the files (or if you uploaded them, the filenames you uploaded). It typically takes about two weeks for us to complete a new log format, from the time it is requested.
