Hi,

I'm having this error on all my profiles, and make the database unusable, I had to rebuild it. The error follows:

Sawmill Alert

Attempt to read beyond end of LogAnalysisInfo/Databases/flvs/main/items/unique_client_ips/pool (fileSize=5129169); attempted to read from 5129185 to 4300096465

Error occurred at: : /build/r7-2/qa/build/versions/8.1.5.1/src/paging_caching_buffer.cpp:321 Error occurred in Salang at current_context:1
If you believe this is a bug in Sawmill, please report it.

Hi-

We have seen this issue when building a database, the best thing to do is either request a pre-release from support below or wait for Sawmill 8.1.6 which is expected to ship somewhere between now and a week from now.

   I just install sawmill 8_bld4097, but updating my database I get exactly the same error....

Have you attempted rebuilding the database first?

   I can try, but doing so I will lose some data. My logs are rolling, and I had only the last 4 days....

   I upgrade to 8.1.6, rebuild my databases from scratch, and today, again, I get this:

Attempt to read beyond end of LogAnalysisInfo/Databases/flvs/main/items/c_ip/pool (fileSize=1016565); attempted to read from 4294967295 to 4294967311
Error occurred at: : /build/r7-2/qa/build/versions/8.1.6.3/src/paging_caching_buffer.cpp:321 Error occurred in Salang at LogAnalysisInfo/profiles/flvs/log/filters/mark_entry.cfv:1

I can rebuild once again my database, but I will lose data, which it makes unusable the utility of the software......

Hi-

Can you run the build of the database using Sawmill 8.1.6, at the command line and let me know what the output of the database build is. It seems like this is failing in the middle of the build.

   it looks like running it on the command line did the trick. I run

./sawmill -p flvs -a ud

And the profile updated ok...
