Sawmill has a powerful web-based administrative interface
The image below shows part of Sawmill's administrative
interface. This interface, which can be accessed from any web browser,
lets you configure what log data Sawmill uses, which parts of the log
data Sawmill ignores, what kinds of information it tracks and displays,
what the statistics look like, and much, much more. The image below is
from the Stats Views tab of the Options section of the Configuration
page; it lets you create and edit custom views (reports), to show
exactly the information you want to see.
Of course, if you don't want to deal with all that complexity, you
don't have to-- Sawmill chooses reasonable settings for all the options,
and you don't need to customize any of them. But if you ever want
something different, the power to change it is there.
