Sawmill is a BroadWeb BEMS log analyzer (it also supports the 956 other log formats listed to the left).
It can process log files
in BroadWeb BEMS format, and generate dynamic statistics from them,
analyzing and reporting events.
Sawmill can parse BroadWeb BEMS logs, import them into a MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle database (or its own built-in database),
aggregate them, and generate dynamically filtered reports, all through a web interface.
Sawmill can perform BroadWeb BEMS log analysis on any platform, including Window, Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Mac OS, Solaris, other UNIX, and others.
This is a "beta" format, which means that support for it in Sawmill is experimental, has not been fully tested, and is not available in Sawmill Lite.
Sawmill stores the following non-numerical fields in its database for BroadWeb BEMS, generates reports for each field, and allows dynamic filtering on any combination of these fields:

| ||device name|| ||devicename|
| ||interface number|| ||ifno|

| ||source IP|| ||srcip|
| ||geographic location|| ||location|
| ||destination IP|| ||dstip|
| ||source port|| ||srcport|
| ||destination port|| ||dstport|

Sawmill stores the following numerical fields in its database for BroadWeb BEMS, aggregating them and including them as columns in most reports:
|Numerical Field|| ||Internal Name|
| ||events|| ||events|
| ||unique source IPs|| ||unique_source_ips|
| ||count|| ||cnt|
