Sawmill can show you the paths visitors took through your site — every path of every visitor
Sawmill's live statistics pages and high-speed database
make possible one of Sawmill's most powerful statistics views, the
"paths through the site" view, shown below. This view shows the paths
visitors took through the web site, click-by-click, starting with the
page they entered at and ending with the page they left from. You can
click any + icon in the view to expand the view further, and see where
visitors went next. This view is extremely useful for finding out how
people are using the web site, so you can make it better. For instance,
you can see in the example below that 28% of visitors are exiting the
site immediately after they arrive at the main page — maybe the main
page could be more appealing to keep a higher percentage of visitors
there.
Other web traffic statistics programs will show you the "top paths
through the site," if you're lucky. But only Sawmill provides the detail
you really need — a dynamic expandable view of all the visitor
sessions your site received, click-by-click.
